Benjamin Hayden is a Professor of Neurosurgery and McNair Scholar at Baylor College of Medicine. He received a PhD at UC Berkeley in 2005 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Michael Platt in 2011. His research focused on the neural representation of variables related to choice, reward, executive control, language, and concepts. His research involves recordings with single neurons in the human brain and has direct relevance to psychiatric and neurological diseases.
