Anna is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University, advised by Dr. Nishal Shah. Her current research interests lie in cross-modality transfer learning and shared-autonomy in BCIs using machine learning approaches.

She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2025, with a B.S. in Mathematics of Computation and Cognitive Science. During her undergraduate studies, she worked on decoding algorithms for non-invasive neural interfaces, and visual reasoning in computational cognition.
