Siyuan is a graduate student in Bioengineering at Rice University under the mentorship of Dr. Nishal Shah. His research is centered on building high-performance brain-eobot interfaces to enable activities of daily living for individuals with paralysis.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in integrated science from Peking University in 2024, where his undergraduate research focused on developing a machine learning-based approach for designing the 3′ end sequence of transcription systems.
