Alexander Lo

Undergraduate Student

Brown University

Alex’s work at BrainGate focuses on spike sorting, which distinguishes the activity of different neurons detected by an individual electrode based on the characteristics of the detected spike events. He is designing a new software architecture that will automate the spike sorting process and could potentially be used for longitudinal analysis.

Alex will graduate from Brown University in 2018 with an Sc.B in Biomedical Engineering.
