Amanda Marie Duffy joined the BrainGate team in 2019. As a post-doctoral research fellow, she is conducting an epidemiological study with the goal of quantifying individuals who may benefit from an intracortical brain-computer interface.

Her interests include identifying and using biomarkers of brain damage and disease to drive robotic rehabilitative devices in patients with different forms of neurological damage and disease, such as stroke.

Dr. Duffy received her PhD in Neuroscience at Brown University in 2018.
