Andrew is a software engineer at BrainGate, focusing on adapting the BrainGate BCI system for independent use at home. He received his BS in Computer Science from Tufts University and MS in Computer Science from NYU. While pursuing his master’s degree, he completed a thesis through the NYU Visualization Imaging and Data Analysis Center, researching MRI data harmonization using reinforcement learning. He has previously worked as a software engineer at Flatiron Health, Box, and IBM, and has helped develop interactive exhibits for the New York Hall of Science and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
