Benyamin is a neuroscience Ph.D. student at Stanford University advised by Shaul Druckmann, Krishna Shenoy, and Jaimie Henderson. He is primarily interested in understanding the science of speech planning and production with the hope that scientific insights can be leveraged to build better speech prosthetics.
Benyamin received his B.S. and M.S. in Neuroscience from Brandeis University in 2017. He went on to work with Dr. Emery Brown at MIT as a research associate developing measures of depth of anesthesia from EEG data and control algorithms for closed-loop control of anesthetic delivery.
