Mr. Memberg is the Project Manager for the CWRU/University Hospitals BrainGate site. He also is responsible for the local regulatory approvals and serves as the Clinical Neurotechnology Research Assistant for this site.

Mr. Memberg received the B.S.E. degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1989. His research focuses on developing and implementing functional electrical stimulation systems, including electrode and sensor development and clinical evaluations. Mr. Memberg is also the founder and President of RePlay for Kids, a nonprofit organization that engages volunteers to adapt and repair toys and assistive devices for children with disabilities.
