Donald joined the BrainGate team in 2018, where he assists in the research and development of neural prosthetic systems, including the decoding of neural signals for communication and control of devices such as robotic arms and personal computers.

Donald graduated from the University of California: Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering. He developed an interest in brain-computer interfaces after taking courses in behavioral science and working on various projects utilizing machine learning algorithms.
