Josephine joined the BrainGate team in 2022. In her role, she provides support and community engagement for individuals and families living with a diagnosis of spinal cord injury, brainstem stroke, ALS, and related disorders.

Josephine Buclez graduated from UChicago with a BA in Chemistry and a BS in Biochemistry. She works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Laboratory for Translational Recovery where her primary research focus is upper extremity motor recovery following stroke.
