Dr. Huang joined the BrainGate team in 2017 and comes with an interest in functional restoration after spinal cord injury and other forms of neurogenic motor disability. He is a current neurosurgical resident at the joint Brigham and Women’s/Boston Children’s Hospital program. He received his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in applied mathematics from Harvard and his medical doctorate from Duke. He has a clinical interest in both neurocritical care and spine surgery and intends to pursue a fellowship in complex spine surgery after residency.
