Kristi originally graduated with a psychology degree in 2007, and worked as a rehabilitation assistant before continuing her education. In 2018 she graduated from Curry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She started her nursing career as a neurorehabilitation RN before joining the MGH NeuroRecovery Clinic, where she continues, together with BrainGate and CNTR.
