Kushaal is a Ph.D. student in the neuroscience graduate program at Brown where he is currently developing methods for intracortical control of soft-robotic arms by people with tetraplegia.
Kushaal graduated from the University of California: Davis in 2022 with a B.S. in computational cognitive science and double minors in computer science and neuroscience. He has research experience in EEG signal processing and decoding with Dr. Steve Luck, in biomechanics and motion capture with Dr. Carolynn Patten, and spectral analysis of LFP data from Parksinson’s patients with Rune Labs.
