Lauren Ostrowski joined BrainGate as an undergraduate student at Brown University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience with Honors in 2018, with coursework focused on computational neural analysis and modeling. She has remained with the lab after graduation, using EEG data analysis to define the trajectory of motor recovery after ischemic stroke, towards the long-term goal of designing an assistive EEG-BCI intervention to promote post-stroke motor recovery.

Lauren also holds appointments at the Center for Neurorestoration and Neurotechnology (CfNN) at the Providence VA Medical Center and the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
