Rekha joined the BrainGate team in 2021 as a Research Engineer. Her work includes technical advancement of the BrainGate system, spanning from embedded systems programming to front-end development.

Rekha graduated from Swarthmore College with a BS in Engineering and minors in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. Her undergraduate research focused on biomedical signal processing, and she completed a capstone project in EEG signal decoding for typing and assistive communication.
