Shirin Tooloee
Graduate Student
Biomedical Engineering, Brown University
Shirin’s undergraduate research is geared towards the development of enhanced robot prosthetic limb control through the integration of continuous grasp. Her focus at BrainGate is to optimize a real-time decoder for the neural signals for grasp to actualize a robot arm that can move in 3 dimensions and grasp with different aperture sizes.
Shirin graduated in 2018 with an Sc.B. in Biomedical Engineering.
