Stefan is obtaining his Master’s in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Neural Engineering from Brown University. In the BrainGate lab, Stefan is developing gesture-based-assistive communication applications with the BrainGate iBCI system. He joined the lab in the fall of 2022 after graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in May 2022.
At BU, Stefan developed a novel Reference Layer with Dr. Laura Lewis for improved simultaneous EEG-fMRI imaging experiments as his senior design capstone. He additionally has experience in the research of behavioral tasks for psychophysics experiments.
